The organisation is
established on the day
20th August 1994 by
some Indian music lovers of
Om Ambar Co-op. Hsg. Soc., Deendayal Road, Dombivli (W) with
the effervescent interest of Durgaraj Joshi,
later on Durgaraj Joshi was anonymously elected as
the Life time President of the mandal.
In the beginning the banian tree was small
It was possible for Omkar Kala Mandal to
perform one program per month.
Now it is seven to eight programs per annum
